Sriram Krishnan presented an introduction to the Opal toolkit at the Multiscale Modeling (MSM) Workshop at the NIH Campus in Bethesda, MD. He also demonstrated the use of Opal toolkit via various interfaces such as Gemstone, Kepler, and Continuity.

Kurt Mueller presented details of the GAMA 2.0 architecture at the Portals and Portlets 2006 workshop hosted by the e-Science institute in Edinburgh, UK. Details of the workshop can be found:
